Environmental system control upgrade for this beef processor. This unit was no longer supported by the manufacturer. It was desired to have visualization and control from the plant wide Ignition SCADA system.
We added a new CompactLogix PLC, repaired deteriorated controls and added new instrumentation to allow this unit to heat, cool and dehumidify with hot ammonia gas.
Spiral Freezer Controls had been damaged by low temperatures and water.
We upgraded an obsolete MicroLogix 1000 to a 1400, an EZ Automation touch screen, and an moved an obsolete Alley-Bradley VFDs to PowerFlex on Ethernet. We also supplied new field sensors. We rewired a freezer due to the deterioration and rating of the existing field wiring. It was not rated for the proper environment from the original installation. We provided electrical supervision of the EC on the 2-day shutdown.
Build control panels for process and packaging lines for pork products.
We supplied several stainless control panels for packaging and conveyance for pork products with PLCs and VFDs where needed, and facilitated a third party certification of Industrial Control Panels. The panels contained assorted hardware including: Siemens PLCs, ABB drives, and AB drives.
